The Niger State Police Command has arrested six suspects in connection with the alleged theft of 59 computers and other equipment from the ICT centre of Martin Sanda Girls Day Science College in Paiko Local Government Area of the state.
Police sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident came to light on June 21 when a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member serving at the school discovered that a window leading to the ICT room had been broken.
A subsequent inspection reportedly revealed that 59 computers, 57 keyboards, a lithium solar battery, an inverter, and a current control panel had been stolen from the facility.
