Police releases report on alleged assassination attempt on Osogbo monarch

The Osun State Police Command has released the outcome of its investigation into the alleged assassination attempt on Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun
A statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, on Friday, disclosed that the committee led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Criminal Investigation Department, Suleiman Bayonle, revealed that the suspect has no intention to assassinate the monarch, but acted under the influence of a substance.
