Nico Jnr and Phils, two sons of famous musician Prince Nico Mbarga founder of Rocafiljazz band were in Enugu over the last weekend in what many consider a musical conquest of the coal city state.
And fans agree that they were victorious in this musical battle.
This is in the family’s resolve to continuously work musically to keep their father’s musical heritage and legacies alive.
The duo backed up by the reconstituted band brought their father’s panco system brand of highlife music first to Toscana, then at the International conference centre Enugu for an NGO anniversary before capping up at the Davids Hill centre on Saturday night.
