Prioritise People’s Interest, Welfare, Buni Tells LG Chairmen, Govt Appointees

Yobe State Governor, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni, has charged the 17 newly elected local government council chairmen, two newly appointed commissioners and a permanent secretary to prioritise the interests and welfare of the people above personal considerations.
A statement issued by the director general Press Affairs and Media to the Governor, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed said Governor Buni gave the charge in Damaturu while swearing in the public officers, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the electorate and the state government through effective, efficient and people-centred service delivery.
