The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has dismissed claims that former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso , purchased 69 nomination forms as part of an alleged move to take control of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party described the allegation as false and misleading.
The reaction followed claims by Abdulkadir Musa Giza, who identified himself as Chairman of the North-West Stakeholders Forum of the PRP, alleging that Kwankwaso had taken over the party structure.
Speaking with journalists on Monday in Abuja , the National Secretary of the PRP, Alhaji Musa Maigari, denied the allegation and insisted that Kwankwaso has no official connection with the party.
