Rainbow Coalition: Gov Fintiri meets Wike amid FCT Minister’s face-off with APC governors

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State on Monday met with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, disclosed the meeting in a post on his official X handle, where he shared photographs from the meeting.
“Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri was in Port Harcourt to see Nyerisi,” Olayinka captioned the photos.
The meeting comes amid the ongoing political differences between Wike and the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governors’ Forum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
