Benue State governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has said he will take a decision on the federal government’s proposed pilot ranches in the state based on what is in the best interest of the people.
Alia, through his chief press secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, urged restraint and thoughtful consideration of the proposal, saying there was no need to rush the matter into the streets, churches, media or marketplaces in a bid to politicise it.
Kula, who stated this in a post on his Facebook page on Saturday, said the governor had never taken any position contrary to the interests of Benue State.
