Rangers Begin Title Defence Against Katsina United As NPFL Unveils 2026/27 Fixtures

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has unveiled the fixtures for the 2026/27 season, with defending champions Rangers International handed a home opener against Katsina United.
The new campaign will kick off on Friday, 28 August, with Shooting Stars hosting newly promoted Inter Lagos at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
The encounter will be particularly significant for Inter Lagos as it marks the club’s first-ever appearance in Nigeria’s top flight following their promotion from the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season.
