Raphinha Inherits Brazil’s Iconic No. 10 Shirt

The Brazilian Football Confederation  confirmed on Friday that Raphinha has been named Brazil’s new No. 10, officially handing the Barcelona winger the iconic shirt as the Seleção begin a new cycle without Neymar Jr.
Raphinha will wear the number in Brazil’s upcoming friendlies against Australia and India. The CBF released the full squad numbers ahead of Friday’s (Today) match against Australia in Townsville, Brazil’s first fixture since their Round-of-16 exit at the 2026 World Cup.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also posted on X: “OFFICIAL: Raphinha, Brazil’s new number 10 after Neymar Jr’s international retirement.”
