‘Real Estate Development Must Go Beyond Building Houses’

The group managing director of Abuja Investments Company Limited (AICL), Ambassador Maureen Tamuno, has called for a people-centred approach to real estate development, stressing that the sector must address fundamental housing needs beyond the construction of buildings.
Tamuno said home ownership represented security, dignity and a significant lifetime investment for many families, underscoring the need for developers to prioritise affordable housing and inclusive community growth.
