Reps member mobilises Yoruba in Kano for Tinubu

A member of the House of Representatives, Leke Joseph Abejide, has launched a mobilisation drive to secure one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from Yoruba residents in Kano State in the 2027 elections.
Abejide, who represents Yagba Federal Constituency, spoke yesterday at an empowerment programme attended by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.
He said he was dissatisfied with the over 500,000 votes President Tinubu polled in Kano in 2023, given that the Yoruba population in the state is estimated at five million.
