ABUJA: National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, on Monday warned that any return of fuel subsidy would cripple Northern Nigeria, saying it would end road, gas and fertiliser projects and push northerners back into poverty.
Yilwatda spoke at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja while receiving candidates of the African Democratic Congress ADC for various State Houses of Assembly in the North who withdrew from the race and defected to the APC.
