The Rivers State government has declared that Governor Siminalayi Fubara is not again loggerheads with members of the State House of Assembly over the 2026 appropriation bill, which is currently before the House.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onwuka Nzechi, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Wednesday evening, said rather Fubara working closely with the lawmakers to serve the good people of the state.
The statement said the 2026 budget is going through the normal legislative process and we strongly believe that once the process is completed, it will be passed by the lawmakers.
