Rotary Supports Women With Maternal Kits, Targets Education, Empowerment

The Rotary Club of Abuja, The Ambassadors, has distributed maternal and delivery kits to pregnant women at the Primary Healthcare Centre, Orozo, Abuja, as part of a four-in-one community intervention aimed at improving maternal and child health and promoting community development.
The three-hour intervention, which covered Orozo 1 and Orozo 2 communities, also featured health education, basic education and literacy promotion, economic empowerment initiatives and the induction of new members into the Rotary service network.
