Seven killed as bandits attack Local govt in Katsina

At least, seven people have been reportedly killed after vigilantes and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) repelled a bandit attack on Ketare town in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State. The incident was disclosed in a post shared on X on Monday by security analyst, Bakatsine.
According to Bakatsine, the attack took place on Sunday night when armed bandits attempted to invade the town but met stiff resistance from local vigilantes and CJTF personnel.
He said the attackers were eventually forced to retreat after a prolonged exchange of gunfire.
