Shettima Proceeds On 2-Week Leave For Reflection, Study

Vice President Kashim Shettima yesterday begun a two-week leave – his first since being sworn into office in 2023.
The leave was approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.During the period, the vice president will devote time in study, reflection and intellectual renewal as part of efforts to strengthen his capacity for continued service to Nigeria.
A statement by his spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, explained that the leave would offer Shettima the opportunity to review the administration’s ongoing programmes, deepen his understanding of emerging national and global policy issues, and prepare for the responsibilities ahead as the federal government intensifies the implementation of the R...
