Six kidnapped victims rescued in Kaduna, Katsina

Six kidnapped victims were on Thursday rescued by troops of the Joint Task Force North West, Operation Fansan Yamma, during separate operations in Kaduna and Katsina States.

Lieutenant Colonel Aliyu Danja disclosed this in a Friday statement.
 
In Kaduna State, troops of Sector 1, Operation Fansan Yamma, while acting on intelligence on a kidnapping incident in Igabi Local Government Area, made contact with suspected terrorists moving some kidnapped victims, Danja said.
On sighting the troops, the terrorists abandoned the victims and fled in disarray.
