Sokoto govt deploys over N1bn digital equipment to Rima Radio, TV, Says MD

SOKOTO: The Sokoto State Government has invested more than N1 billion in the acquisition and deployment of modern digital broadcast equipment for the state owned Rima Radio, Rima FM and Rima Television, as part of a sweeping drive to reposition the stations for wider reach and enhanced service delivery.
The Managing Director, Sokoto State Media Corporation, Alhaji Labaran Lumo Dundaye, disclosed this on Saturday while addressing the Congress of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Sokoto State Council, at the NUJ Press Centre, Zuru Road, Sokoto.
