Sokoto Modern Abattoir Gets New Equipment Under L-PRES

The Sokoto State Government has taken delivery of new equipment for the Sokoto Modern Abattoir under the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES).

A team of engineers from Turkey has arrived in the state to install the equipment.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Development, Abubakar Muhammad Yabo, conducted the team round the facility to assess existing infrastructure and identify areas for installation.

The intervention is part of efforts by the state government, through the Ministry and the L-PRES project, to modernise livestock infrastructure and enhance meat processing operations in the state.
