Soldiers rescue 14 kidnapped in Katsina, arrest terrorist logistics couriers

Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma have rescued 14 kidnapped victims, comprising 12 males and two females, while conducting a routine patrol operation in Katsina.
Lieutenant Colonel Aliyu Danja, Media Information Officer, said on Saturday that the victims were kidnapped from Anguwan Miko and Tafoki villages in Faskari Local Government Area.
Danja also said three terrorist logistics couriers were arrested in a separate operation by troops in Faskari Local Government Area.
He said, “On 24 September 2026, troops of Sector 2 intercepted three suspects travelling on a motorcycle in Faskari Local Government Area.
