Human rights activist and politician, Omoyele Sowore, has called on Nigerians to stage nationwide protests on Monday, urging citizens to take to the streets and public spaces across the country to express their dissatisfaction with the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Sowore made the call in a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday, barely days after he was reportedly hospitalised following a police crackdown on Democracy Day protest in Abuja on Friday.
In the post, the activist urged Nigerians to mobilise in large numbers across cities, towns and communities nationwide to deman President Bola Tinubu’s ouster.
