African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has regained his freedom from the Kuje Correctional Centre after meeting the bail conditions set by the Federal High Court in Abuja in his ongoing cybercrime and criminal defamation trial.
Announcing his release in a post on X on Tuesday, Sowore described his detention as unjust and insisted it had only strengthened his determination to continue opposing the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
“Leaving Kuje Prison after being unjustly incarcerated by the failed traitor to the Nigerian people, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his regime,” he wrote.
