SPE sees Nigeria hitting 3mbpd oil output by 2030

Nigeria’s oil and gas industry is regaining global investor confidence as reforms, transparent licensing rounds and accelerated gas development reposition the country as an attractive investment destination towards the prospects of achieving three million barrels of oil production per day by 2030, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Nigeria Council has said.
Chairman of the SPE Nigeria Council, Mr.Francis Nwaochei, stated this at the opening ceremony of the 49th Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition (NAICE 2026) in Lagos on Monday with the theme:Thriving in the Evolving Global Energy Landscape: Collaborative Growth and Resilience”.
