Nigeria’s next generation of champions may already be playing on a dusty school field or a community pitch, unseen and unsupported. The National Grassroots Sports Development Summit 2026 in Abuja is meant to change that.
The two-day gathering holds on November 18 and 19 at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Presidential Villa. It is organised by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Prince Adeyinka Adegboye, under the theme “Creating a New Pathway for Sustainable Grassroots Sports Development.”
