Stock Investors Gain N2.64trn As Market Cap Hits N163.16trn

Investors on the Nigerian equities market gained N2.642 trillion yesterday as capitalization advanced to N163.16 trillion, reflecting the bullish momentum that lifted the All-Share Index back above 250,000.
The All-Share Index (ASI) gained 4,068.27 points, rising 1.65 per cent to close at 251,290.54, on renewed investor confidence and sustained buying interest across the bourse. Also, market capitalisation rose by N2.642 trillion, closing at N163.161 trillion.
The upturn was driven by price appreciation in large and medium capitalised stocks amongst which are; Dangote Cement, Aradel Holdings, Nigerian Exchange Group, First Holdco and Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO).
