‘Suing your ex-spokesman very unwise decision’ – Okonkwo warns Obi over N5bn defamation suit

Actor-cum-politician, Kenneth Okonkwo said the presidential candidate of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi would be making a great mistake by proceeding with a defamation lawsuit against him .
The lawyer and public affairs analyst said he might be compelled to release some privileged information he acquired as a spokesman for Obi’s 2023 presidential campaign during trial.
Okonkwo sounded the note of warning in a statement shared on suit following reports that Obi was preparing a N5 billion defamation suit against him.
