Super Eagles: 13 new players get first call-ups

Thirteen (13) new players were handed their first senior invitations by Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming international fixtures.
The new invitees, mostly from clubs in Europe and the Middle East, comprise defenders, midfielders, goalkeepers, and forwards.
Several of the players have been named in Nigeria’s squad for the international friendly against Russia, while others will feature in the team for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.
