Former Sokoto State governor and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress,ADC, Aminu Tambuwal, has condemned the reported attack on its party's governorship candidate in Sokoto State, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan’iya and members of his convoy. According to Tambuwal via a statement on his X handle on Saturday, the incident occurred around Sokoto Airport on Friday, October 30, 2026.
