Taraba: Bwacha launches campaign, alleges $268m ECOWAS Bank loan disappeared into thin air

Taraba State governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, has called on Governor Agbu Kefas to account for the alleged missing $268m ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development loan, obtained in June 2026.
The governorship candidate stated this while declaring the Taraba State PDP 2027 campaign open in Zing.
According to Bwacha, public borrowing must be accompanied by transparency, accountability, value for money and measurable public benefit.
The former Senate Deputy Minority Leader alleged that the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development loan was missing into thin air without being accounted for.
