Technology not replacing culture – Fintech entrepreneur, Akanji

The Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian fintech startup, Galafy, Adewole Akanji, has said technology should not be seen as a threat to Nigerian culture but as a tool to preserve and improve it.
Adewole made this known during the launch of Galafy, a digital gifting platform designed to help Nigerians send and receive monetary gifts during weddings, birthdays, concerts, religious gatherings and other celebrations.
According to him, the platform was created to make the tradition of giving easier, safer and more convenient without taking away the cultural value attached to celebrations.
