M y fellow compatriots, one of the most troubling realities confronting contemporary Nigerian society is the growing glorification of wealth without scrutiny of its source. We have gradually evolved into a society where affluence is celebrated irrespective of how it is acquired, where luxury is mistaken for legitimacy, and where ostentation has become a substitute for character.
