Tijjaniyya sect declares support for Gov Yusuf’s re-election bid

The Chairman of the Shura Council of the Tijjaniyya Sect, Sheikh Sani Shehu Maihula, has declared the support of the Islamic group for the re-election of Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
This was contained in a statement issued by Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor’s spokesman.
Maihula made the declaration during the annual Zikr and national prayer organised by the Tijjaniyya Sect at the Kano Emir’s Palace while delivering the welcome address through his brother and the spokesman of the Tijjaniyya Council, Shiek Ibrahim Shehi Maihula (Shehi Shehi).
