Tinubu: I’m correcting past mistakes, give me time to finish

President Bola Tinubu has said his administration is addressing mistakes made by previous governments and appealed to Nigerians to give him the opportunity to complete the work.
Tinubu made the remarks on Friday through the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, during a special prayer session at the National Mosque in Abuja to mark Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
Tinubu said peace and development are gradually returning to the country.
“This anniversary—the 66th—by all accounts signifies Nigeria has come of age,” he said.
