Tinubu, NLC Urged To Probe Alleged Victimisation Of Osun Workers

Civil society organisations have called on President Bola Tinubu, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and other relevant institutions to investigate allegations of political victimisation of local government workers in Osun State following the 2026 governorship election.

The organisations, the Nigeria Peace and Security Advancement Network (NPSAN) and the Local Government Development Initiative (LGDI), alleged that some council workers faced suspension and other administrative actions over claims that they did not support or vote for Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The groups made the call at a joint press conference in Abuja on Friday.
