President Bola Tinubu has signed the Peace Accord ahead of the 2027 general elections, urging political parties and candidates to shun violence, hate speech and the use of ethnic and religious sentiments in their campaigns.
Tinubu, who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, gave the warning on Tuesday in Abuja during the signing ceremony convened by the National Peace Committee (NPC).
