Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to loan goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario to Juventus, with a non-mandatory £8.6 million purchase clause, sources confirmed. The 29-year-old Italy international will travel to Turin for his Serie A return.
The move follows Juventus’ failed pursuit of Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martínez, who remains sidelined with a finger injury. Vicario lost his starting role under Spurs manager Roberto de Zerbi last season to Antonin Kinsky, whom de Zerbi has confirmed as his No. 1 for the new campaign. Veteran Martin Dubravka, signed from Burnley in July, will serve as backup.
