Troops disrupt terrorist logistics, neutralize IED threat in Zamfara

Troops of Joint Task Force North West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have disrupted terrorist movements in Zamfara State and intercepted a logistics supplier.
A statement by the Media Information Officer of the Operation, Lt-Col Aliyu Danja on Saturday, said troops also recovered military accoutrements and neutralised an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, on a major road.
Danja stated that in a counter operation, troops of Sector 2 in conjunction with a Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, responded to a report of a suspected IED near Jabanda village, Zurmi Local Government Area of the state.
