Troops Rescue Remaining 4 Kidnap Victims Held With Late Ex-DDI General Abubakar In Katsina

Troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued four kidnap victims during ongoing operations targeting a notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Muhammadu Fulani, and members of his criminal gang in Katsina State.
The development was disclosed in a press statement signed by the Katsina State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr Nasir Mu’azu, and released early Wednesday.
LEADERSHIP reports that the kidnap victims were earlier held captives alongside the former Director of Defence Information (DDI), retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, who eventually died in captivity at the weekend.
