The Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board (TSUBEB) has denied allegations that five of its directors and other senior officials are unlawfully remaining in office beyond the statutory retirement age.
In a statement signed by the Board’s management, TSUBEB described the allegations circulating on social media as false, reckless and defamatory, accusing those behind them of attempting to mislead the public and damage the reputation of the institution.
The Board said all matters relating to appointments, retirements, promotions and other personnel issues are handled in accordance with the Taraba State Public Service Rules and other relevant regulations.
