History will remember October 23, 2024, as the day Nigerian education changed course. On that day, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reassigned Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa, a globally renowned nephrologist, clinician, administrator and pro-democracy patriot, as the 31st Minister of Education of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
