Updated: How Democrats Seized US Congress Amid Massive Implications For Trump, Republicans

In a sweeping wave of electoral victories in Tuesday’s Midterm elections, the Democrats took over the United States Senate and the House of Representatives, which highlights a rebuke to President Donald Trump and his Republican Party.
 
The Democrats hit hard and made some gains deep in Republican territory, as opinion polls have suggested  and the “scale of their gains was far greater than most analysts had forecast, extending beyond traditional battlegrounds deep into Republican territory.”
 
 
 
Obviously dazed by the results, Trump took it in good faith and told media outlets he would accept the election results and was prepared to work with Democrats.
