US Bans $19.9bn Canadian Imports As Trade War Escalates

The United States has imposed fresh restrictions on selected Canadian imports as the trade dispute between the two countries continues to escalate.
The White House announced the measures early Tuesday, targeting a range of Canadian products, including alcoholic beverages, molasses, motorcycles and dairy byproducts.
The affected goods are estimated to be worth about $19.9 billion in Canadian imports, according to the American Action Forum.
