US-Iran peace deal to be signed in Switzerland on Friday

A proposed agreement between the United States and Iran aimed at ending the conflict in the Middle East is expected to be formally signed on Friday at the Burgenstock resort in Switzerland, according to the Swiss foreign ministry.
Switzerland authorities disclosed that the signing ceremony is scheduled to hold on June 19 at the luxury mountain resort overlooking Lake Lucerne.
Iran and the United States had announced on Sunday that both countries reached a memorandum of understanding intended to halt the conflict that began on February 28 following coordinated US-Israeli strikes on Iran and later escalated across the region.
