US Mission Nigeria Opens 2026 Education Fund Applications

The United States Mission in Nigeria has announced the opening of applications for the 2026 edition of the EducationUSA Nigeria Opportunity Fund Programme (OFP), which offers support to outstanding Nigerian students seeking higher education opportunities in the United States.
According to a notice issued by the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria, applications opened on June 15 and will close on June 30, 2026.
The programme, administered by the Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Mission through EducationUSA Nigeria, aims to help academically exceptional Nigerian students with demonstrated leadership potential access higher education in the United States.
