Voter Register Scandal: Ezekwesili Demands Citizens’ Takeover Of Voter Register Clean-Up, Says INEC Cannot Investigate Itself

Former Minister of Education, Obiageli “Oby” Ezekwesili, has called for an independent Citizens’ Electoral Rescue Team to take over the cleaning up of Nigeria’s voter register ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) cannot investigate itself over allegations of voter register manipulation.
