Voting was disrupted in Ejigbo, Osun State, on Saturday after violence broke out at a polling unit during the Osun State governorship election.
It was gathered that voters, residents and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) fled the polling unit as tension escalated in the area.
The incident reportedly began after a youth discovered materials allegedly linked to vote-buying and said to belong to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The situation reportedly escalated when individuals allegedly associated with the materials arrived at the scene and attempted to whisk the youth away.
