Nigerian referee Yemisi Akintoye has been appointed to officiate Wednesday’s 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-final between Algeria and Malawi.
The match will be played at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off scheduled for 6pm Nigerian time.
It will be Akintoye’s second appearance as a referee at the tournament after she took charge of the Group A encounter between Senegal and Kenya at the same venue on 30 July.
The Nigerian official, who is making her debut at Africa’s flagship women’s football tournament, also served as the fourth official for the opening match between Algeria and Kenya.
