The Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan on Saturday buried 27 of the 30 people killed in the recent attack on Naridon village in Southern Kaduna. The other three victims had already been buried days earlier.
The attack occurred at about 11 pm last Sunday when suspected terrorists stormed Naridon, a farming community on the border between Kaduna State and Ganawuri in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The attackers reportedly killed at least 30 people, including children, set several homes on fire and kidnapped a number of residents while they were asleep.
