White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has announced her decision to leave the Trump administration, saying she can no longer balance the demands of one of the most high-pressure jobs in government with her responsibilities as a mother of two young children.
Leavitt, who has served as President Donald Trump’s press secretary for the past year and a half, announced her departure in a statement on X, describing her tenure as the “honor and adventure of a lifetime”.
