Wike breaks silence on alleged rift with Okpebholo

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has dismissed reports of a rift between him and Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, insisting that their relationship remains cordial.
Wike spoke on Saturday at the funeral Mass of late politician Dan Osi Orbih in Ogbona, Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State, where both men gathered to pay their last respects to the deceased.
“There is no problem between me and the governor; we are very close; we work together and we will continue to work together,” the minister said.
